What a great honor!. Very well said, proof that good work ethics and putting aside any self doubt is the backbone for a successful career.

  3. Chuck is one of a kind. He possesses a great sense of humor, the ability to state his perspective directly and the compassion to care for others in his sphere of influence. He and his wife Georgia are a fantastic team. They have been close friends and partners in many community endeavors. Congrats to them both on this recognition.

  6. Thank you Chuck for mentoring so many young TV Journalists through the years. That’s why there’s a little bit of Chuck still broadcasting today.

Congratulations!! I’ve watched you since a 5-year old wishing we could afford the “Orange Crush” that you advertised!!! Seems it came right before “Animal Kingdom”! You are a true professional and had a personality that seemed to get along with co-hosts, and especially George Graphos! You have a great sense of humor as well!! Blessings

I believe God created Chuck with an outstanding sense of humor, a down to earth personality, and strong sense of integrity. Chuck many talents have served our WISCONSIN communities in numerous ways. He competed and was a successful archery champion, he represented that sport in Wisconsin well, he and Georgia owned and managed a northern resort for a number of years, they raised a family together in our area, and worked with numerous community service groups as well as served his church. He was always one of us and those past endeavors and experiences ensured his broadcasting integrity and connection with each of us and our communities as we tuned in to see and hear what Chuck was reporting on next and what insights we could glean from him. Chuck has always been first in his field of endeavor and in life. Thanks for the example you set Chuck. And Congratulations on a reward that is well earned!

I had the honor of working with Chuck after my football career ended, he helped me beyond words could do it justice! I respected him more than he’ll ever know. We also became neighbors, he and Georgia would walk through the woods just to say hello. His stories of his expierences always made me jealous! Wether it was muskies he had caught or bucks he had harvested with his bow I was always on the edge of my seat as he spoke. Nobody meant more to Northeastern Wisconsin and the U.P. than Chuck Ramsey when it came to getting their news! Chuck Ramsey is what a t.v. News anchor is supposed to be honourable, have integrity, a man of faith, a friend!
    Congratulations!
