Randy Allen’s broadcasting career spans more than four decades, earning him legendary status in northeast Wisconsin radio. Known by his peers as “The Legend,” Allen spent nearly 50 years on the air at stations including WGEE, WNCY (Y100), and WGEE-FM in Green Bay. His warm on-air presence, deep knowledge of country music, and unwavering professionalism made him a trusted companion to listeners throughout the Green Bay, Appleton, and Oshkosh markets.

Allen’s passion for radio extended well beyond daily programming. He served as emcee for thousands of concerts over his career, including notable introductions for Johnny Cash, who developed a personal friendship with Allen and invited him to shows and private gatherings. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside Randy for more than 20 years, and he continues to set the standard for what a radio personality should be. Congratulations to a true legend.
