    To whom it may concern
I loved this walk down memory lane. I remembered many of the show’s & characters mentioned. I hope you can help me with the name of a show I watched in the early 60’s.
On Sunday mornings there was a man that read the comic strips from the Milwaukee Journal or the Milwaukee Sentinel.
There were 2-4 kids sitting & listening to the man read. I loved it because it was very entertaining & it helped me become a better reader.
When I mentioned this show to friends and relatives no one seams to remember it. I can even remember the melody that was played at the start of the show.
    Thank you for your help

  2. The show was “Sunday Funnies” and I can hear the song in my head.
    Found this:
While no surviving audio clip of the original 1960s WTMJ Sunday Funnies theme is available in the provided results, the show’s branding and era suggest it likely used a cheerful, upbeat jingle or instrumental theme common to children’s programming of that time.
Wish I had more, but I do remember the show. I think I just listened for that song at beginning and end.
