You wouldn’t know who William West Anderson is, but you might remember Adam West, the name he took professionally. Adam is best known for portraying Batman in the 1960s series on ABC Television. He was very upset when he was not chosen to play Batman in the movie. West said he played Batman for laughs, but to do that one had to never think it was funny. He did a good job pulling that off.
