Alan Thicke was a Canadian born actor, songwriter, and game/talk show host. He was best known for playing Dr. Seaver on the sitcom “Growing Pains.” He was married, at the time, to “Days of Our Lives” soap opera star and singer Gloria Loring. Their son Robin Thicke is a popular singer, songwriter. In this podcast Alan discusses the demise of his late-night talk show “Thicke of the Night” and the large number of recording stars who sang on the show’s theme song. He also talks about a unique way to save the show.
