Bobby Bare, was an American country music singer and songwriter, who had his own TV show in the 1980s. Bobby was best known for songs “Detroit City” and “500 Miles Away From Home.” But the song I was interested in was “All American Boy.” I got Bobby to explain the strange outcome of this hit record.
