Bob Barry’s Unearthed Interviews Podcast: Jack Jones

Jack Jones is a singer and actor, born in Hollywood, California. He recorded hits: “Lollipops and Roses,” “Wives and Lovers,” and “The Race is On.” I’ll tell you in a minute what he was best known for singing. Jack was married briefly to actress Jill St. John. He’ll explain why they parted. He appeared on many TV shows including the popular “Hullabaloo Rock and Roll” series. His credits in the theater include “Guys and Dolls, “Man of La Mancha,” and “South Pacific.” In 2013 he appeared as himself as a nightclub singer in the film “American Hustle.” Jack Jones is best known for singing the theme song on the popular TV show “Love Boat.” I asked him how he got that gig.
