WBA Hall of Famer Bob Barry ruled Milwaukee's airwaves in the '60s and '70s. He interviewed the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, James Brown, Dolly Parton, Sophia Loren, Gregory Peck, Dick Clark, Cher and many more. Pierino Ronald Perry Como was about as Italian as you can get. He had an easy-going style which resulted in many hit records. Mr. C, Perry Como, had a weekly musical variety television show seen all around the globe. He received five Emmys, the Kennedy Center Honor and was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame. He has three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for radio, TV, and music. Perry appeared in Milwaukee several times including at the Wisconsin State Fair.
